Legalize it or not?

Unless you've ever dropped acid, you really don't know what it's all about. But, it takes you to another level of consciousness...and it isn't safe. Anybody that tells you there are no physical side effects is on crack. Hell, I was holed up in a barracks under assault from spiders, walking hairy couches, and other things...for nearly 2 days. (I was 18, stupid, and I thought a window paine was 1 hit.) IMO there isn't a more dangerous drug...if you even call it that. When your imagination blends with reality you don't really know what's real and what isn't.

What is considered a "safe" dose is measured in MICROgrams. 1/32 of an ounce will kill an elephant. The horrors of lsd have largely been forgotten, the stats for high school seniors trying acid is something like 2%, the US Army decided to try some of the phobia thing. Sprayed some NVA regulars and waited for them to flee, from fear. What happened was a charge by folks that didn't understand, for the moment, they could ever die. But putting a drug that alters reality ,in the hands of the general public, is about a silly a thing as I ever heard.

LD50 which is considered a lethal dose of LSD, is about 12,000 ugs. The average blotter is about 40-100 ugs. Not really any info of anyone overdoses on it, pretty hard to. Salvia, Morning Glory and Datura plants are legal to possess in the US - except for salvia, which is illegal in about 10 states now I think - all have effects of LSD, but legal. Doesnt melt your brain like people think. Just attaches to the serotonin in it, which acts as a filter for your emotions and makes you focus on one thing at a time...so without that, your thoughts are just wondering all over the place in there lol. Not many people are ever heard from, ODing on acid cause they all kill themselves before that dose. Sorta like saying morphine wasn't the cause of death- they just quit breathing. Or drinking didn't kill him, he just ran into a tree with a car. Give it up, some of us lived thru that era.
